There is no strict dress code — wear something that makes you look and feel good!
Our only request is that your attire is appropriate for a place of worship. Please avoid:
Church of St. Francis Xavier, PJ
135, Jalan Gasing, Seksyen 10, 46000 Petaling Jaya
Click here for directions via Google Maps.
Parking is free and plentiful within the church grounds. No ticket or reservation required.
If driving is not an option for you, we highly recommend booking a Grabcar (e-hailing vehicle) as public transport options are limited and may delay your journey. Please note that you will need to download the Grab app on your phone and register your mobile number before use.
A few special things to keep in mind
The ceremony will start at 9.15a.m., starting with the bride’s entrance. Please plan your journey in advance and arrive by 9.00a.m. to allow time to be seated comfortably.
While our ceremony follows a format similar to a traditional Mass (church service), it’s tailored for a wedding; the Church does not expect our non-Catholic guests to participate in any religious parts (and neither do we!)
While we encourage our guests to take photographs, we respectfully request that you do not turn on flash or step into the aisles, in order to maintain the sacred nature of the Mass. There will also be a dedicated team on-site to capture the ceremony.
Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony. Please stay to enjoy them before you leave! We have taken care to ensure that all food served is halal or pork-free.
There is no strict dress code; wear something that fits the occasion and leaves you feeling your best. If you’re unsure, just dress to impress!
Our only request is that you avoid an all-white outfit, as this colour worn by guests is traditionally associated with funerals in Chinese culture.
(Optional) If you’re thinking of matching our colour theme, our venue decor will feature lilac, soft pink and a touch of yellow!
